AEBIG (ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE BIOGÁS)
The Spanish Biogas Association (Asociación Española de Biogás – AEBIG) was founded on 20 January 2009. AEBIG members include companies, people and institutions that are active in the biogas sector in Spain. The association represents and advocates for biogas as a renewable energy source, environmental improvement, and form of support for rural development, establishing a communication and collaboration platform between international industry actors.
Luis Puchades has been vice president of AEBIG since 2015.

Biovic is a founding partner of the company AEMA Servicios Energéticos, which owns the 500 kW La Vall d’Uixó biogas plant. This plant manages waste from the agro-food industry each year. The company also owns a 70 kW photovoltaic power plant and a supermarket waste treatment plant.
